چکیده

The use of rice husk (the waste in the production seeded (Oryza sativa) as a sorption material for removal pollutants various classes – inorganic (Cr, Ni, Co, Pb, Hg, As, Cd, Cu, Zn) and organic substances (synthetic natural dyes, phenols, antibiotics, polycyclic aromatic compounds, humic acids, pesticides, chitosan) from aqueous media is generalized. literature data on structure rice, volume its cultivation, chemical composition, some components are given.
methods physical salts, alkalis) described activation, well modification husks using surfactants, Fe3O4 nanoparticles, functional agents, monomers (polymerization reactions). Quantitative characteristics absorption (recoveries, equilibrium limit sorption) given. influence pH, temperature, concentration pollutants, phase contact time, volume, mass shown. Possible mechanisms, kinetic models described. It revealed that isotherms most cases adequately by Langmuir Freundlich models, kinetics process pseudo-second-order model.

Photocatalytic Role of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles on Synthetic Activated Carbon to Remove Antibiotic from Aquatic Environment

Background & Aims of the Study: The presence of antibiotics in the environment, especially in aquatic environments is a major concern for health and the environment. The advanced oxidation process due to the ease of use, economical advantages and high performance have attracted a lot of attention. The purpose of this study was Evaluating of the photocatalytic role of zinc oxide on s...

Emergence of Red Rice (Oryza sativa) Ecotypes Under Dry-Seeded Rice (Oryza sativa) Culture1

The effect of seeding depth on emergence of red rice (Oryza sativa) ecotypes from Arkansas (AR), Louisiana (LA), and Mississippi (MS) was determined under dry-seeded rice production in clay and silt loam soils in Arkansas. By 21 d after planting (DAP), all red rice ecotypes had emerged from planting depths of 1.3, 2.5, 5.0, and 7.5 cm in both clay and silt loam soils. In silt loam soil, seedlin...

The Globulins of Rice, Oryza Sativa

Compared with the proteins of other cereals, those of rice haye been but little studied, notwithstanding the fact that rice constitutes one cf the most important sources of food for a large part of the world’s population. One reason for this is doubtless due to the unusual distribution of the classes of protein found in this seed. Unlike the proteins of other cereals, nearly all of the proteins...

Protein profile of rice (Oryza sativa) seeds

Seeds are the most important plant storage organ and play a central role in the life cycle of plants. Since little is known about the protein composition of rice (Oryza sativa) seeds, in this work we used proteomic methods to obtain a reference map of rice seed proteins and identify important molecules. Overall, 480 reproducible protein spots were detected by two-dimensional electrophoresis on ...

Oxygen dynamics in submerged rice (Oryza sativa).

Complete submergence of plants prevents direct O(2) and CO(2) exchange with air. Underwater photosynthesis can result in marked diurnal changes in O(2) supply to submerged plants. Dynamics in pO(2) had not been measured directly for submerged rice (Oryza sativa), but in an earlier study, radial O(2) loss from roots showed an initial peak following shoot illumination. O(2) dynamics in shoots and...
